The Unitarian Universalist Society is

Over the next 5 years our diverse and beloved community will reach out to
welcome new members and strive to retain current members. They will join us in
an accessible and pleasing environment which nurtures spiritual growth and
life-long learning, and is home to a variety of inspiring, participatory worship
experiences.
Groups & Activities
Here is a listing & description of the many social, support & activist
groups at the UU Society.
Joseph Campbell Round Table:
discussion of myth, story and symbol as the manifest in and affect the
direction of our personal lives and the lives of our communities both small
and large. Meets on 1st Thursdays at 7:30pm.
Covenant Groups: these
are groups that commit to meet on a regular basis and discuss/explore such
topics as social justice, UU history, culture & other special interests.
Current groups are: Banned Books, Earth Based Spirituality, and Green Sanctuary. Contact our
Director of Religious Education to find out if there is
space in one that interests you.
First Sunday Lunches:
1st Sunday of every month after the
service, bring a dish to share or $3/person, $5/family. Free for visitors
and students.
First Friday Game Night:
game nights for all ages, all abilities. Come to play cards, board games, or
bring your favorite game. 1st Fridays from 7pm.
Northeast Ohio Alliance for Hope
(NOAH): an Interfaith, community organizing group working to affect
public policy.
Shifting Gears: discussion/support group for people having to
cope with an unexpected situation, meets the 1st Tuesdays at 1:30pm.
